Cote D’Ivoire: Epiphane Zoro Ballo reassures investors

A Korean delegation was yesterday at the office of the Minister for the Promotion of Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption, Epiphane Zoro Ballo, in Plateau.

After the discussions, the government representative assured South Korean investors of the willingness of the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara and the Prime Minister, Patrick Achi, to support their initiatives.

“The Ministry for the Promotion of Good Governance and the Fight against Corruption is an essential theme that reassures our financial partners. Concerns are constantly raised: what guarantees our investments? Is the business environment healthy? Is there no corruption, dysfunction?
Our role is to reassure the will of the President of the Republic and the Head of Government to provide all economic operators with the right information and to instruct them on the mechanisms of good governance that exist in order to attract the maximum in Côte d’Ivoire because without the capital, we cannot realize the vision of the President of the Republic,” he explained.

Minister Epiphane Zoro Ballo wished that his visitors, after the meetings they will have with the other ministries concerned by their areas of intervention, will come to settle in Côte d’Ivoire to invest there. “The provisions are there to guarantee the security of investments through the mechanisms of good governance that Côte d’Ivoire is putting in place,” he argued.

Cissé Tiémoko, the first manager of the Sodines firm who initiated the prospecting mission of the Korean delegation on Ivorian soil, said that the synergy between the public and the private sector produces good results. He said that with respect to the mechanism of good governance in the country, these investors will be able to install their production units and work in peace.
